Sussex Police Launch Manhunt After Brutal Tarring Assault

Sussex Police are hunting two suspects after a savage attack left two men seriously injured in Worthing. The violent incident took place just after 6pm on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, outside the Green Man Ale and Cider House on The Green, at the junction of St Dunstan’s Road in Tarring.

Two Men Hospitalised After Youth Duo’s Brutal Beating

The victims, aged 48 and 59, were targeted by two young men in what police describe as a ruthless assault. Both required hospital treatment, with one suffering serious injuries. Police have released descriptions and images of the suspects, urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.

  • Suspect 1: Late teens to early 20s, around 5’8″. Wearing a black coat, grey hooded top, grey joggers, black trainers, and braces.
  • Suspect 2: Late teens to early 20s, about 6′ tall. Dressed in a black coat, black joggers, trainers, and a hat.
