Teen Stabbed in Hither Green Park – Emergency Services Race to Scene
Emergency crews scrambled to Manor Park, Hither Green, this Sunday afternoon after a stabbing sent shockwaves through the community. The 999 call came in just before 1pm, sparking a rapid response from police, the London Ambulance Service (LAS), and the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).
Victim Rushed to Hospital – Condition Non-Life-Threatening
On arrival, officers found a teenage boy suffering stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital where medics say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the victim remains under medical care but is expected to survive.
“Police were called to Manor Park, Hither Green at about 12:47hrs on Sunday, 11 August following reports that a man had been stabbed. Officers, LAS, and HEMS attended. A man aged in his late teens was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital where he remains. His condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.
