Man Shot Dead in Croydon Car Park in Early Morning Horror

Police were scrambled just before 5am on Saturday, 2 October, following reports of a man shot in a Birdhurst Road car park, Croydon. Emergency services rushed to the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, but sadly, Leroy was pronounced dead there and then.

Police Launch Murder Inquiry, Seek Party Witnesses

Detectives are hunting for anyone who attended a house party — believed to be a silent disco — in the Birdhurst Road area that night. They also want to speak to anyone who saw Leroy on Friday, 1 October.

Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin said: “Even if you think you didn’t see or hear anything important, please come forward if you were there.”

“Leroy was a popular local man. His family and friends are devastated by his tragic death.”

“We’re also appealing for dashcam or other footage that could help our investigation.”

No Arrests Yet — Police Plead for Information

No arrests have been made so far in this brutal early morning shooting. A post-mortem will be arranged in due course as the probe continues.
