Tragic Death at Potten End Construction Site
A construction site in Potten End, near Hemel Hempstead, turned fatal when a workman became trapped in a trench and died.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police, fire brigade, and ambulance crews raced to the site just before 11:30am on Friday after receiving reports of the incident.
Despite their swift response and determined rescue efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Health and Safety Executive Launches Investigation
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed and will investigate the tragedy to determine what went wrong.
A spokesperson for the rescue services said, “Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man sadly passed away at the scene. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this sad time.”
