Mini Golf Heist Buster: Burglar Nabbed in Nottingham
Quick Arrest After Mini Golf Club Burglary
Police have arrested a man suspected of burgling a Nottingham business. Officers were called to a mini golf club on George Street after money and alcohol were stolen in the early hours of Monday, 5 December 2022.
CCTV Leads to Arrest
The City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team combed through CCTV footage. Their hard work helped the city’s Operation Reacher team track down and arrest Samuel Slater from Grierson Avenue, Bestwood.
Suspect to Face Court
Slater has been charged with burglary and is set to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (6 December 2022).
“Incidents of this nature can have a very considerable impact on local businesses and are always thoroughly investigated by Nottinghamshire Police. I am pleased we have now been able to charge a suspect in this case,” said Sergeant Louise Ellis, leader of the Reacher team.
