Aideen Kennedy, 43, has died mere hours after sharing on social media that she was receiving palliative care. The beloved former UTV reporter touched fans by asking them to look after her “kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful” children, Jacob and Eva.
Family and Friends Left Heartbroken
Aideen is survived by her children and her parents, Noel and Maura. A UTV spokesperson expressed sorrow over her death, saying she was “a truly gifted reporter” who brought stories from all over Northern Ireland. They extended “heartfelt condolences to her family during this difficult time.”
