A terrifying fire ripped through an ambulance and two cars on Little Heath Road, Bexleyheath, this afternoon. The blaze erupted at around 3:35 p.m., sparking a dramatic emergency response from London Fire Brigade.
Firefighters Rush to Scene, Treat Two Injured
Fire crews arrived to find three vehicles engulfed in flames near Hollingborne Avenue. Two fire engines tackled the inferno head-on, quickly dousing the flames.
A man and a woman were treated on the spot by firefighters. It’s still unclear if they needed hospital care. Both Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service are investigating further.
Cause of Fire Unknown – Investigations Underway
“We were called at 3:35 p.m. to reports of a fire on Little Heath Road in Bexleyheath. Firefighters arrived and discovered an ambulance and two cars alight. The vehicle fires were safely extinguished by crews,” said a London Fire Brigade spokesperson.
