Police and Man Stabbed in Shocking Noel Park Road Attack
Violent Incident Rocks N22 Block
Police and a third party rushed to an address on Noel Park Road, N22, around 7.20pm on Friday, 6 August after welfare concerns were raised about residents. But the situation quickly turned ugly.
Police and Man Attacked in Communal Area
While in a shared area, a man suddenly attacked the officers and a 61-year-old man with them. The elderly man suffered stab wounds, and one officer was slashed—fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening.
All three victims remain in hospital receiving treatment. Authorities have yet to update the public on the 61-year-old’s condition.
Three Arrested, Motive Under Investigation
Officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of assault. Two more suspects were apprehended later as the investigation continues. All three remain in custody.
A crime scene is still in place. Police say the attack is not believed to be terrorism-related but are working to discover the motive.
