Tragic Hit-and-Run in Marine Parade: Young Man Dies at Scene
A deadly crash shook Marine Parade near Barton’s Point Coastal Park on Wednesday evening, January 17, 2024. At about 6.48pm, a black VW Golf collided with a pedestrian, a man in his 20s, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Emergency services arrived promptly but could not save the young man. Police confirmed the man died instantly after the collision, sending shockwaves through the local community.
