Woman Killed in Horror Crash on Woodcock Hill
A woman in her 60s was tragically killed after being hit by a car on Woodcock Hill, Kenton. Police rushed to the scene around 5.40pm following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
She was thrown 30 feet along the road and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver Arrested for Drink Driving and No Insurance
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Crime Scene and Investigation Underway
A crime scene has been established. Collision investigators are performing skid tests and conducting a full forensic examination to piece together what happened.
