A serious crash in North West London’s Park Royal prompted a rapid response from emergency services this afternoon. The incident occurred on Old Oak Lane shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, with paramedics, advanced medical teams, and the London Air Ambulance dispatched to the scene.
According to the London Ambulance Service, the first paramedics arrived within three minutes of receiving the call. In addition to an ambulance crew and advanced paramedics, the hazardous area response team (HART) was also present, emphasizing the severity of the incident.
The injured person was treated at the scene and subsequently taken by road to a major trauma centre. The exact nature of their injuries remains unknown at this time, as do the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed, “We were called at 2:19 p.m. to reports of a road traffic collision on Old Oak Lane, Park Royal. We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road.”
As of now, Officers from the Met Police are investigating the details of the crash and urge anyone with information to come forward.
