Family of Waterlooville Gun Victim Pleads for Help to Find Missing Weapon
The family of Jamie Sibley, 34, seriously injured in a shooting in Crookhorn, have made a desperate appeal for information to catch the culprit and recover the missing firearm.
Jamie’s Condition Stable but Fight Continues
Jamie remains in hospital in a stable condition after the attempted murder on Athena Avenue just before 1am on Monday, February 13. Specialist police officers and the Neighbourhood Policing Team are still hunting for the weapon used in the shocking attack.
Family Urges Community to Come Forward
A week on from the shooting, Jamie’s family released a heartfelt statement:
“Jamie is a very much loved member of our family. He’s had his problems like many people, but really he’s such an easy-going person. We appreciate all the well wishes, but please respect our privacy while we focus on Jamie’s recovery. Above all, if anyone has any information, no matter how small or irrelevant it seems, please tell the police. We need to get justice for Jamie.”
