Police are investigating the theft of a parcel in the Bullsmoor Lane/Great Cambridge Road area after a neighbour’s security camera captured an individual stealing it just moments after delivery.
The parcel was delivered to a “safe place” at a residence at 11:19 AM on Tuesday, 19 November 2024. However, by 12:00 PM, footage from a neighbour’s camera revealed an individual on a bicycle removing the parcel. The suspect was also carrying a large bag, possibly containing other stolen items.
The incident has been reported to the police, and the victim has shared the relevant details, including CAD reference 4354/19 NOV 24 and crime reference number 01/1103089/24.
Ongoing Investigation
Police are urging residents in the area to check their security cameras and report any suspicious activity that may assist with their investigation.
A spokesperson said:
“We encourage anyone with additional footage or information about this incident to come forward. Parcel theft is an increasing concern, and we are committed to identifying and prosecuting those responsible.

Authorities are also reminding residents to take precautions to secure their parcels, including arranging deliveries for times when someone is home or using alternative delivery locations such as lockers or trusted neighbours.
