Man Stabbed in Canterbury Lane After Early Morning Brawl
Detectives are probing a stabbing incident in Canterbury Lane that left a man injured with wounds. The attack happened at around 3.20am on 21 April 2024, following a heated argument earlier in Lower Bridge Street.
Two Arrested as Police Hunt Key Witness
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the assault. Officers are continuing their enquiries to piece together exactly what happened. As part of the investigation, police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify, hoping he can help shed light on the incident.

Charged and Waiting Court Date
- A 23-year-old man from south London has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He is scheduled to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 23 August.
- A 20-year-old man arrested in Margate has been released on bail while inquiries continue.
