Ramsgate Man Jailed for Sick Sexual Abuse of Three Teen Girls
A 61-year-old man from Ramsgate has been locked up for 25 years after sexually abusing three teenage girls over nearly a decade.
Stephen Saville’s Twisted Game
Stephen Saville, of Cliffsend, preyed on the girls between 2009 and 2017. He convinced one victim they were in a secret affair, telling her she couldn’t date boys her own age. The girl bravely came forward in 2017.
If Saville caught his victims texting boys, he’d fly into violent rages. He would then ply them with alcohol before abusing them.
Other Victims Speak Out
The other two girls realised they had been abused in 2018 and reported Saville to the police. He was arrested and charged with multiple sexual offences, including rape.
Justice Served at Canterbury Crown Court
Saville was found guilty and sentenced on June 15, 2022, to 25 years in prison with an extra year on licence.
“I would like to commend the victims for their courage in coming forward,” said Detective Constable Carl McGee of the Thanet Vulnerability Investigation Team.
“Saville abused his position, preying on vulnerable young girls who didn’t know any better.”
“They may never recover from what he’s done, but at least he’s behind bars and can no longer harm anyone else.”
