Drug Dealer Busted at Ebbsfleet Station with Heroin and Cocaine
Kent Police have smashed a hard-hitting drug operation linked to the notorious ‘Bruce Line’. Between September 2020 and January 2021, cops discovered a phone number blasting out bulk texts selling heroin and cocaine across Medway.
Khali Aremu Caught Red-Handed
Detectives zeroed in on the supplier’s movements and stopped Khali Aremu at Ebbsfleet International railway station on 26 January 2021. A search uncovered three phones – including the key number used by the ‘Bruce Line’ – plus a stash of drugs hidden in clingfilm in his underwear: 90 wraps and additional heroin packs.
Four Years Behind Bars for London Dealer
Aremu, 22, from Greater London, pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court. He was convicted of possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine. The seized drugs had a street value estimated between £1,150 and £2,300. On 20 April 2021, he was jailed for four years.
Detective Constable Richard Sears said: “This man was a prolific dealer who regularly sent bulk texts to Kent drug addicts advertising class A drugs for sale. He travelled to his customers from London.”
“Our investigators tracked him down after many hours and acted fast to detain him. His prison sentence should serve as a warning to other dealers – we’re coming for you.”
