Crack and Heroin Dealer Locked Up After Police Sting
‘Mitch Line’ Drug Ring Exposed
Kent Police’s County Line and Gang team have smashed a dangerous drug operation. Brandon Gnamien, 23, was caught running a south London-based crack cocaine and heroin ring targeting Maidstone users.
Between September and November 2019, detectives tracked three phones linked to the so-called ‘Mitch line’ sending constant marketing texts pushing Class A drugs.
Dealer Tracked and Arrested
Investigators built a case proving Gnamien controlled two of those phones and regularly travelled by train into Kent to supply addicts. He was arrested on 6 February 2020 at a London address.
Gnamien later admitted to the supply charges at Maidstone Crown Court and was sentenced on 31 July to three years and eight months behind bars.
Police Warn Drug Dealers: It’s Only a Matter of Time
“Our officers target those who bring Class A drugs into our town and will tenaciously track down those who seek to remain anonymous through using dedicated phone lines,” said Detective Chief Inspector Lopa McDermott.
“These criminals need to understand, once we know who they are, they will receive an early morning visit by our officers and a lengthy stay in prison. My message is clear, it’s not if you will be arrested, but when.”
