Croydon Man Charged with Murder in Morden Death
Lewis Adams, 29, from Rutherwick Rise, Croydon, was charged on Wednesday, 21 October with the murder of 25-year-old Patrick Gomes De’Almeida in Morden. Adams also faces charges of grievous bodily harm and two counts of robbery.
He is set to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 22 October.
Three More Men Facing Murder and Robbery Charges
Earlier arrests have already seen three men charged over the same case. Gerald Atkins, 33, from Greyhound Terrace, Streatham, and Leigh Wright, 28, of Whitworth Road, SE25, face charges including murder, two counts of robbery, and grievous bodily harm.
They appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 8 October and were remanded in custody. They are due to face Old Bailey judges again on Monday, 7 December.
Another Suspect in Custody
Jamali Calvert, 20, from Ingatestone Road, Croydon, has also been charged with murder, grievous bodily harm, and two counts of robbery. He appeared at the Old Bailey on 13 October and remains remanded, with a further hearing set for 7 December.
The investigation into Patrick Gomes De’Almeida’s death continues as the court dates approach.
