Pervert Caught Filming Secret Videos With Spy Watch
Hidden Camera Horror
Floyd Winch used a watch with a hidden camera to secretly film a woman in 2016. He then posted at least one of the videos on a porn website, exposing her without consent.
Victim Shocked Years Later
The victim only discovered the sick footage over two years later when a stranger contacted her online, warning her about the video. Shocked and distressed, she reported the crimes to Kent Police.
Quick Police Action and Arrest
Kent Police’s Vulnerability Investigation Team launched a probe that led to Winch, 29, of Arundel Street, maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone. He was arrested in March 2019. Officers also found cannabis at his home, resulting in a drug possession charge, which he admitted.
Guilty Plea and Jail Sentence
Winch pleaded guilty to four counts of voyeurism at Thanet Magistrates’ Court on 3 February 2021. He was sentenced to one year in jail at Canterbury Crown Court on 24 March.
“These were very disturbing, sexually-motivated offences, which were made all the more serious by Winch’s posting of the footage online,” said PC Raechel King, investigating officer. I urge anyone who believes they have been a victim of a sexual offence to contact Kent Police. We will work with you to bring offenders to justice.”
