Gun-toting drug dealer nabbed in Lewisham raid
Shaun Bent caught with guns, cocaine, and cash
Shaun Bent, from Brindley Street, SE14, was hauled in by police on 4 July last year during a crackdown on violent and organised crime in Lewisham. Officers swooped on his home and uncovered a shocking stash.
They found a rucksack loaded with three pistols, each armed with 18-round magazines, plus 46 rounds of ammunition. But that wasn’t all – Bent was caught red-handed with 788 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, £53,000 in cash, and a money counter.
Eight years inside after Woolwich Crown Court sentencing
Bent was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and three counts of possession of prohibited firearms. At Woolwich Crown Court on 8 January, he was slammed with a hefty eight-year jail term.
