Suspect Nabbed Over Spate of Commercial Break-Ins
Police have arrested a suspect linked to a string of break-ins at commercial properties in town. The dodgy shopper was also arrested for shop theft and breaching bail conditions from an earlier crime.
The man faced Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, charged with theft. He was granted bail with strict conditions but remains under investigation for 20 separate burglaries.
Major Haul Stolen from Local CBD Shop
One target was The Hempist, now trading as A Taste of Vitality on Marine Parade. Thieves made off with a big stash of stock, including:
- CBD toothpaste, face and hand creams
- CBD bath bombs
- Incense sticks and wooden holders
- CBD body butter and various lotions
- Tea Tree and Hemp body wash
- Hemp massage oil and shampoo
- Large amounts of CBD oil and vape liquids in multiple flavours
Police are urging the public to keep an eye out for these stolen items being offered for sale.

Officers continue forensic tests and investigations to build their case. Anyone with info is urged to report it online or call 101. If you spot a burglary in action or suspicious activity, ring 999 immediately.
