Drug Kingpin Lee Silvester Jailed Over £650K Class A Haul

Underworld Ties Exposed in International Drug Smuggling Ring
Detective Constable Brendan Kennedy, leading the investigation, revealed Silvester’s offending was part of a wider criminal network importing Class A drugs into the UK from overseas. Kennedy said:
“Our investigation, with international law enforcement partners, disrupted their operations severely. We want to make London a hostile place for drug criminals. Spending years behind bars is the best deterrent.”
Massive Drug Haul Worth £600,000 Snapped in West London
In April 2022, officers caught a man unloading Class A drugs worth £600k from a West London storage unit. That man was arrested, eventually jailed for over five years for intent to supply. Silvester was later identified as the mastermind directing this operation.
Silvester Nabbed With £50K Drugs, More Found in His Home
Police stopped Silvester in September 2022 on the A249 and discovered Class A drugs valued over £50,000. A search of his property uncovered more drugs, heat-sealing equipment, packaging materials, and a burner phone linking him to other suspects. He was also tied to the rented storage unit used in the scheme.
Silvester faced trial at Kingston Crown Court. The jury took less than three hours to unanimously convict him, sending a strong message to organised crime networks.
