Festival Dealer Caught Red-Handed at Wilderness Festival
Finn Attreed, 21, from Torrington Park, Barnet, London, was slammed with a 3 years and 9 months prison sentence at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday 6 April.
Guilty Plea for Multiple Drug Charges
Attreed admitted to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs cocaine and synthetic 2C-B, as well as Class B drug ketamine.
Security Nabbed Dealer in the Early Hours
Around 3am on Friday 5 August 2022, Wilderness Festival security at Cornbury Park caught Attreed going tent to tent hawking drugs. He was detained on the spot and found carrying various illegal substances.
Thames Valley Police quickly arrived and arrested Attreed. They later seized drugs and a burner phone loaded with messages about drug deals and paraphernalia.
Police Praise Festival Security’s Swift Action
“Finn Attreed came all the way from London to profit from dealing drugs at our festival,” said Detective Constable Daniel Smith from Witney’s Priority Crime Team. “But festival security were sharp and stopped him cold before he could sell to campers. We won’t tolerate drug dealers in our communities and will keep bringing them to justice.
“I hope he uses his jail time to think about the damage he caused. We thank Wilderness Festival for their quick work leading to this conviction.”
