Tottenham Stabber Jailed for Two Shocking Unprovoked Attacks

Beausheen Morrissey-Davis, 23, was locked up for six and a half years at Wood Green Crown Court last Friday for stabbing a stranger twice in unprovoked attacks.

Random Attacks on Stranger in Tottenham

On 19 January 2021, Morrissey-Davis approached a man in a shop on Tottenham Lane, N8, and stabbed him in the head. The victim, a man in his 20s, had no prior connection to Morrissey-Davis. Although injured, his wounds were not life-threatening, and he was later discharged from hospital.

Then, just two months later on 16 March 2021, Morrissey-Davis went after the same man again, this time stabbing him in the shoulder on Rokesley Avenue, N8. Once again, the victim survived and his injuries were not life-threatening.

Police Crack the Case with CCTV and Phone Data

After a fierce investigation, including a public appeal with CCTV footage, police arrested Morrissey-Davis in January 2022. Phone analysis confirmed he was at both attack scenes when the stabbings happened.

He’d already pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.

Detective Constable Owen Magner said: “Morrissey-Davis is clearly a dangerous offender. I am pleased our investigation has resulted in him being jailed for a considerable amount of time and I have no doubt the public is safer as a result.”

“To be targeted at random on two occasions must have been terrifying. I would like to thank the victim for the support he has given the investigation.”
