Nottingham Man Busted with Class A Drugs in Operation Guardian Sting

A 26-year-old man sparked police suspicion by deliberately avoiding officers on Foreman Street, Nottingham, last Friday, 23 December.

Eight Bags of White Powder Found

During Operation Guardian – a crackdown involving both uniformed and undercover cops hunting illegal drugs in Nottingham city centre – the man was stopped and searched. Officers discovered eight bags of white powder, believed to be Class A drugs, on him.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. After being taken into custody for questioning, he was released on bail with strict conditions pending further enquiries.
