Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run on Liptraps Lane
A woman in her 40s was struck by a car at around 11.30pm on Friday, 16 October 2020, on Liptraps Lane. She was rushed to hospital with leg injuries but has since been discharged.
Man Arrested and Charged Over Incident
Lee Delay, 31, from Lamberhurst, was arrested two days later on 18 October. He faces serious charges, including attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving.
Delay appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 19 October and was remanded in custody. His next court date at Maidstone Crown Court is set for 16 November.
