Paedophile Jailed for Four Years After Paying to Watch Child Abuse Online

Adrian Page, 58, was caught and convicted after police uncovered his sickening online activity involving child abuse images and live exploitation.

Police Raid Exposes Horrific Crimes

In January 2018, officers from the Police Online Investigation Team (POLIT) raided Page’s home in Chapel Road, Langham. They acted on a tip-off that the internet there was being used to access child abuse content.

Page was arrested, and forensic searches revealed over 140 indecent images of children on his computer. Worse still, between June 2015 and January 2018, he had exchanged thousands of messages online, arranging and paying to watch children being abused in the Philippines.

Multiple Charges Lead to Heavy Sentence

Page faced eight counts of arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of children, three counts of making indecent images, one count of possession of indecent images, and one count of possession of extreme pornography.

He admitted all charges at Ipswich Crown Court on Monday, 16 November, and was sentenced to four years in prison. He was also placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.

Detective’s Warning to Other Offenders

“Adrian Page is a dangerous and prolific sexual predator who arranged and paid for children to be abused for his own gratification,” said Detective Constable Sam Petken from POLIT.

“He showed no regard for the children being exploited. He is now behind bars, making children safer. This investigation proves we will hunt offenders down no matter where the victims are. We exist to protect children and jail paedophiles.”

“My message to offenders is clear: if you’re putting children at risk or paying to see abuse, we will find you, prosecute you, and ensure you face justice.”
