Burngreave Dealer Nabbed with Stash of Class A and B Drugs
Ebrahim Musa, 24, from Ellemere Road, Burngreave, Sheffield, has pleaded guilty to multiple serious drug offences. He admitted three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and two counts involving Class B drugs. He also faces charges of possessing criminal property and assault.
Caught Red-Handed After Dumping Cocaine and Running
On 22 July 2021, police officers spotted suspicious activity in a wooded area near Verdon Street, Sheffield. As they closed in, Musa threw away a plastic bag and attempted to run. The discarded bag contained several wraps of cocaine. Nearby, officers found another bag filled with heroin.
Cash, Cannabis, Scales, and More Found in Rucksack
Musa was eventually caught carrying a large amount of cash. A search of the area uncovered Musa’s rucksack and satchel packed with cannabis, scales, small bags for packaging, and even more money. The haul left little doubt about his intent to supply.
Police Warn: Drug Dealing Has Serious Consequences
DC Richard Jones said: “We know drug dealing is a major concern for our communities. I hope this result illustrates how committed we are in tackling this issue and securing results at court.
“Musa was a shameless street dealer who had numerous types of drugs on him that day, a weapon, and a significant amount of cash. On behalf of the communities we serve, I am satisfied that he has been removed from the streets for a significant amount of time. I hope this will send a signal to others that there are serious consequences for this behaviour, and encourage communities to report similar matters of concern.”
