Shock Arrest After Man Found Dead Following Southfields Way Assault
Paige Poulton Held Over Early Morning Attack
Paige Poulton, 19, was arrested after Jack Cadwallader, 25, was reportedly assaulted outside a property in Southfields Way during the early hours of Tuesday 2 July 2024. Mr Cadwallader was later confirmed dead at hospital, authorities revealed.
Investigation Led by Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate
The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are spearheading the investigation. Alongside Ms Poulton’s arrest, a man initially taken into custody has since been released without charge.
Poulton Set to Appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court
Ms Poulton, from Southey Road, Haringey, London, will face Margate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 3 July. Police continue to appeal for information surrounding the fatal assault.
