Suspected Drug Dealer Busted in Ramsgate with £15,000 and Cannabis
A suspected drug dealer staged a major bust after police swooped on a Ramsgate home, seizing cannabis and around £15,000 in cash.
Cops Raid Ramsgate Property
On the evening of Thursday 23 July 2020, officers raided a property on St Augustine’s Road. Inside, they found a stash of cannabis, tens of thousands in cash, and drug-dealing paraphernalia.
Tomas Gailiunas Charged and Remanded
Tomas Gailiunas, 28, who lives on St Augustine’s Road, was charged with possession of a class B drug with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 27 July, where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court, with a date yet to be set.
Two Others Arrested and Released on Bail
Two other men, aged 31 and 29, were arrested in the same investigation but have been bailed until August for further inquiries.
