Woman Held After Fatal Stamford Hill Stabbing

Katarzyna Poniatowska, 31, is set to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 7, following a shocking stabbing in Stamford Hill.

Stabbing Shakes Stamford Hill

Police rushed to a property in Stamford Hill, N16, shortly before 11am on Friday, June 4, after reports of a stabbing.

Officers found a man in his 30s with serious stab wounds. Despite desperate attempts to save him, including CPR from police and treatment from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, he died at the scene.

Victim and Suspect Known to Each Other

The victim and 31-year-old Poniatowska are believed to have known each other. Police say they are not searching for anyone else in connection with the fatal attack.
