Man Stabbed in Shocking Rochester Break-In

Kent Police rushed to a property in Shorts Way, Rochester, late on February 17 after a brutal break-in left a man injured. The victim suffered stab wounds to his head and hands and was rushed to hospital, where he remains stable.

Three Arrested in Early Morning Raid

Officers from Kent’s County Line and Gangs Team swooped in the early hours of February 21, detaining a man and two women linked to the attack.

  • Marvin Joseph, 26, from Bedford faces robbery and grievous bodily harm charges.
  • Sharne Rossiter, 33, of Rochester, charged with robbery.
  • A 38-year-old woman with no fixed address was also arrested but later bailed pending investigation.

Court Dates Set

Joseph and Rossiter appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on February 22. Joseph was remanded in custody, while Rossiter was granted bail. Both are due back in Maidstone Crown Court on March 22.

The third suspect was released on bail until May 19 as inquiries continue.
