Police Crackdown on Violent Crime

Detective Constable Connolly, leading the investigation, declared: “Violence in our area is something we will continue to tackle robustly to bring these criminals to justice.

“This was a completely unprovoked attack. I’m pleased Pullan is now behind bars where he belongs.

“I really hope this provides his victim with some comfort after such a terrifying ordeal.”

Pullan’s sentencing sends a clear message: preying on the vulnerable will not be tolerated. The victim remains recovering from his injuries after the shocking assault.
