Another Teen Charged in North London Murder of 17-Year-Old Anas Mezenner
Fresh Murder Charge in N15 Stabbing
Detectives have charged a new 17-year-old suspect in the shocking murder of Anas Mezenner in north London.
The teen was first arrested on 23 January on suspicion of murder and attempted murder but was released on bail. He was re-arrested on Tuesday, 9 February, and officially charged that evening.
He is set to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 10 February.
Four Others Already Charged
The case has already seen four other teenagers charged over the killing:
- Two 16-year-olds charged with murder and possession of bladed weapons. They appeared at North London Magistrates’ Court on 22 January.
- A 16-year-old and a 14-year-old charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of bladed weapons. They faced Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 29 January.
Fatal Stabbing on West Green Road
The murder probe began after Anas and another 17-year-old were found stabbed on West Green Road, N15, shortly after 9pm on Tuesday, 19 January.
Anas was rushed to hospital but tragically died at 4.25am. The other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
