Drugs Haul Leads to Arrests in Maldon
Major Drug Bust in Essex
Police swooped on a house in Marlowe Close, Maldon, on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 August 2021. The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate uncovered a stash of 11 pressed blocks of suspected cocaine during the raid.
Officers also seized large amounts of powder believed to be cocaine, heroin, and cutting agents. Cannabis and a haul of cash were recovered too.
Man Charged Over Multi-Drug Conspiracy
Ged Shone-Porter, 25, from Marlowe Close, was hit with three charges of conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin, and cannabis. He faces an additional count for possessing criminal property linked to the seized cash.
Shone-Porter was remanded and set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 20 August.
Woman Released but Probe Continues
The 25-year-old woman arrested during the operation, who hails from Plumstead, London, has been released pending further investigation.
