Drug Dealer Jailed for Over Three Years After Richmond Sting

County Lines Boss Nabbed at Richmond Station

A 27-year-old man from Ealing has been locked up for 38 months after cops busted him running a County Lines drug operation. Elijah Henry-Gooding, from Tavistock Avenue, was caught red-handed by plainclothes British Transport Police at Richmond station on 30 July 2024.

The officers had intel linking Henry-Gooding to a drug-running ring. He was spotted regularly travelling to Richmond to sell crack cocaine and heroin.

During a stop-and-search, police found:

  • £760 cash
  • Two mobile phones – including a Nokia burner confirmed as the drug line

He was instantly arrested for involvement in supplying Class A drugs.

Hidden Drugs and Knife Found in Custody

A strip search in custody revealed Henry-Gooding was hiding a clingfilm-wrapped stash in his underwear containing:

  • 64 wraps of crack cocaine
  • 37 wraps of heroin

Police also seized a concealed folding lock knife, considering his crimes even more serious.

Guilty Plea and Serious Charges

Henry-Gooding pleaded guilty to multiple offences including:

  • Two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
  • Possession of a bladed article
  • Three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs

Police Praise Team Effort in Taking Down Dealer

“Now that Henry-Gooding is behind bars, Richmond and its surrounding communities can breathe a sigh of relief that a prolific drug dealer is off the streets along with the illegal substances he was peddling,” said Sergeant Julian Mason, who led the investigation.

“Henry-Gooding thought he was a criminal mastermind above the law. Our County Lines Taskforce has made it clear: we will stop at nothing to crush drug and knife crime linked to the railways.”

This conviction is another win for the British Transport Police County Lines Taskforce as they tackle the drug trade poisoning London and beyond.
