Bladed attack sparks terrifying home invasion
Brett Gilham, 36, and Ieasha Gilham, 40, have been locked up following a brutal attempted robbery at a man’s home in Hawkinge on March 24, 2023. The ordeal began when Brett knocked on the victim’s door, falsely claiming to have hit the man’s car. Moments later, he forced his way inside.
The pair then cornered the victim in his living room, demanding cash. In a shocking turn, Ieasha stabbed the man in the back during the terrifying attack. Despite his injuries, the victim escaped and raised the alarm to a neighbour.
Emergency crews rush victim to hospital
Paramedics arrived quickly, rushing the stabbed man to a London hospital with serious injuries. Thanks to their swift action, the victim survived the brutal assault.
