Knife-carrying thug locked up in under 24 hours! Eighteen-year-old Rackeem Thomas was sentenced to six months behind bars for flashing a huge Rambo knife at Dartford station. The quick justice came just a day after he was caught red-handed.
Ticket check turns violent at Dartford station
It all began on Monday, December 18, when Thomas failed to produce a ticket during a routine check. His suspicious behaviour and a fake ID raised alarm bells. As police moved in for a search, Thomas tried to bolt but was swiftly tackled by vigilant staff.
Rambo knife revealed in daring escape attempt
During the scuffle, Thomas whipped out a concealed Rambo-style knife from his waistband, putting everyone on edge. Officers acted fast, stopped the dangerous thug, and seized the weapon.
Swift justice handed down at Medway Magistrates’ Court
Thomas faced the music the very next day at Medway Magistrates’ Court. He was hit with six months in prison plus fines: £54 victim surcharge and £85 to cover the cost of destroying the blade.
“Thomas is a dangerous individual,” said Investigating Officer Alex Morgan. “I’m delighted to see him sentenced less than 24 hours after the offence. Removing violent offenders and weapons from our railways is vital. We hope this sends a strong message to others.”
