Gun arrest after Blackhorse Lane shooting horror
Suspect Nabs and Charged
Desharn Felix, 21, of no fixed address, was arrested on Wednesday, 5 July. Just two days later, on Friday, 7 July, he was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition with the same intent, and possession of cannabis.
Felix is set to appear in custody at 1 on Friday, 7 July.
Late Night Gunfire Sparks Investigation
Police were called at 11.44pm on Saturday, 17 June, following reports of a gunshot in Blackhorse Lane, E17. Officers rushed to the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service.
A 22-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound and was rushed to hospital in critical condition.
Victim Survives After Critical Injuries
Thankfully, medics later confirmed the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening. However, he remains in hospital under close care as the investigation continues.
