Kent Man Busted in Major Drugs Crackdown Linking Portsmouth and Southampton
County Lines Drug Gang Targeted
Detectives have swooped on a county lines drug network operating between Portsmouth and Southampton. Olaleye Oduola, 19, from Bexleyheath, Kent, has been charged with multiple serious drug offences.
Serious Drug Charges Laid
- Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs – Heroin and Crack Cocaine
- Possession of Class B drug – Cannabis / Cannabis Resin
- Involvement in supply of Heroin and Crack Cocaine
- Assault on an emergency worker
Oduola is currently remanded in custody and is due before Portsmouth Magistrates today.
Top Cop Praises Crackdown
T/Chief Superintendent Nigel Lecointe said: “This was great policing by officers from Portsmouth’s Neighbourhood High Harm Team supporting our Op Monument investigation into the supply of drugs in our communities. Tackling county lines and its consequences are a national law enforcement priority.”
He added that the National Crime Agency, Hampshire Constabulary, and other forces are joined by partners to root out key criminals, disrupting entire drug networks and preventing related crimes.
