Teenager Arrested After Stabbing in Ilford
Police rushed to Marlands Road, Ilford, at 3.54pm after reports of a stabbing. Officers, joined by London Ambulance Service paramedics, discovered a 20-year-old man with stab wounds.
The victim was taken to an east London hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
12-Year-Old Boy Arrested on the Spot
A 12-year-old boy was snapped up at the scene. He was arrested and taken into custody immediately.
Charges and Court Date Set
On Friday, 12 March, the youngster was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article. He has been remanded in custody.
The boy is set to appear at Barkingside Youth Court on Saturday, 13 March.
