Suspect Tries to Dodge Cops by Jumping Gardens

A suspected drug dealer made a desperate attempt to dodge police by hopping over multiple gardens in Hove. Acting on a tip-off, Brighton’s Tactical Enforcement Unit raided a flat on Connaught Terrace just before 8 AM on Monday, June 17.

The suspect fled through a window and was spotted leaping between neighbours’ gardens. But quick coordination between police teams on the ground led to a swift and safe arrest.

£25,000 Worth of Drugs and Cash Seized

Inside the property, officers found a stash of cannabis, cocaine, and cash valued at around £25,000. The 20-year-old man from Hove was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply both cannabis and cocaine.

Released on Bail Ahead of Further Investigations

The suspect has been granted conditional bail until September 17 as investigations continue.
