Drugs charges after suspicious car stopped in Tunbridge Wells

A search of a suspicious vehicle in Tunbridge Wells has led to a man being charged over the supply of drugs. At around 11am on Wednesday 13 November 2019 officers stopped a Mini Countryman which was being driven in London Road, uk/news/uk/tag/Southborough" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Southborough" link="linked" id="114126">Southborough. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 42 wraps of cocaine. Cash totalling £103 was also seized. The driver, 18-year-old Van Tran, of the Broadway, Bexleyheath, was arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and with possessing criminal property (namely the £103.) He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 14 November
