Ex-Canterbury Doctor Faces 24 Sex Abuse Charges
Greg Manson, 55, a former GP from Canterbury, has been charged with 24 counts of sexual and indecent assault. The offences allegedly took place between 1998 and 2017, involving multiple men and two boys.
Arrest After Long Police Probe
Manson was arrested in 2018 following a probe by Kent Police’s Child and Adult Protection Team. The investigation spanned nearly 20 years and uncovered abuse linked to his time as a doctor in Canterbury.
Charges to Be Heard at Canterbury Crown Court
The details of the charges remain under wraps, but all relate to non-recent sexual offences. Manson appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on January 25, 2024, facing accusations from nine victims.
His next hearing is set for March 4 at Canterbury Crown Court, where he will formally answer the allegations.
