David Carrick, the disgraced former Met police officer and convicted rapist, has been hit with another life sentence. The 50-year-old was found guilty on Wednesday of historic sex crimes, piling more years onto his already massive prison haul.

Preyed on a 12-Year-Old and Raped Ex-Partner

Carrick’s latest convictions reveal sick abuse dating back to the 1980s. He sexually abused a 12-year-old girl when he was just 14. Decades later, he also raped a former partner.

Already Jailing for 71 Sex Offences

The former cop was already serving 36 life sentences for 71 counts of sexual violence spanning 17 years. His minimum term was 32 years, with parole due in 2054. Now that’s pushed back to 2055, keeping him locked up even longer.
