Horrific Dagenham Stabbing: Woman and Two Kids Injured
A brutal stabbing attack has left a woman and two young children injured in Dagenham. The shocking incident unfolded on Friday, October 25, at around 5:35 pm on First Avenue.
Swift Police and Emergency Response
Police rushed to the scene after reports of multiple stab victims. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, acted fast. They found a woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl, and a two-year-old boy all suffering from stab wounds.
All three were immediately rushed to hospital. Thankfully, authorities say their injuries are not life-threatening.
Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He fell ill and was taken to hospital but was discharged after medical checks. He is now locked up in police custody.

“This is a truly shocking attack, and I want to thank local residents for their assistance and patience while we deal with this incident,” said Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, overseeing policing in Barking and Dagenham.
Detectives believe the victims knew the attacker and are not searching for anyone else. The area remains sealed off as officers carry out vital investigations. Residents can expect increased police presence in the coming days.
