Officers and a vigilant PCSO raced to the village train station on Monday, March 11, 2024, following reports of suspicious behaviour in the bike area. Upon arrival, they confronted three people but one tried to make a run for it.
PCSO Gives Chase, Suspect Nabbed with Machete-Style Knife
The PCSO didn’t hesitate and chased the fleeing suspect. With help from a police constable, they caught him. A machete-style knife was then seized from nearby.
18-Year-Old Charged and Court Date Set
Alfie Chandler, from Five Oak Green, was charged on Tuesday, March 12 with possession of a knife in public. He’s currently on bail and is due to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
