Police in Southampton are urgently seeking a vital witness following a violent assault outside Leisure World. Just before 3am on Saturday, 12 May, two men clashed in an altercation that left one man unconscious.
Victim Battles Serious Head Injuries
The victim suffered serious, but thankfully not life-threatening, head injuries and remains in hospital. Officers want to speak with a woman who spoke to both men and helped the victim after the attack. She is a crucial eyewitness.
Suspect Arrested but Released on Bail
A 21-year-old Southampton man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He’s been bailed until 7 June while the investigation continues.
