Man Charged After Woman Stabbed in Dartford Car Park

A 55-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a woman was stabbed in Dartford.

Stabbing in Littlebrook Car Park

Kent Police rushed to a car park near Littlebrook Manor Way at 8.58pm on Sunday, 9 April, following reports of a woman suffering stab wounds.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was taken to a local hospital. Thankfully, she has since been discharged.

Suspect Known to Victim Arrested

Officers arrested Nicholas Fryers, 55, who has no fixed address and is known to the victim. On Monday evening, 11 April, he was formally charged with grievous bodily harm with intent by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

Fryers is due in Medway Magistrates’ Court today, Tuesday 12 April.

Police Confirm Isolated Incident

Kent Police say the attack is an isolated event. They are not looking for anyone else in connection with the stabbing.
