A daring burglary at a Deal shop on Beauchamp Road has ended with a swift arrest. Kent Police were called early on Saturday, March 16, after crooks broke in overnight, making off with electrical goods and cash.

Dover’s Victim Based Crime Team sprang into action, launching an immediate investigation. By the evening of the same day, officers arrested 19-year-old Tyler Jackson close to the scene. They also seized a quantity of cannabis during the operation.
Charged and Remanded
Jackson, from Freemens Way, now faces charges of burglary and possession of a Class B drug. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 28.
